There are more fun & yummy places to eat near Long Beach Resort in Panama City Beach than I could ever count.

One of the favorites of my Kindergarten-to-College crew is Hammerhead Fred’s on Thomas Drive. Most grandparents know that if the kids are happy, everyone’s happy and that’s certainly my motto. I save my opinion for when it’s just me & hubby or me and a close friend or two. Hammerhead Fred’s checks all the boxes for us all! High quality food plus plenty of action for the Grandkids. The menu is extensive, the servers are a hoot, and the music is lively. Beach Boy likes the corn dogs, teens only eat chicken, and college kids order steak (since I’m usually buying.) My favorites are Bourbon Street Pasta and Shrimp ‘n Grits. Be sure to try the Swamp Bites and Bottle Tops from the Hammertizer menu. You’re in Florida – eat like a Local.
